YSL & Kusama

Yayoi Kusama is well known for her polka dot themed works, a major influential character in the art scene of the 70s, influenced such artists as Andy Warhol and Claes Oldenburg. She also wrote an autobiography 'Infinity Net' which describes where her love for polka dots comes from in her traumatic childhood. Now that it has just been released this year in English I couldn’t resist putting it into my online shopping cart. Recently she has teamed up with March Jacobs and Louis Vuitton to collaborate collections inspired by her work. Her child like work sets a fun theme for Louis Vuitton’s new collection. Check-it-out.
